Introducing the Zebra

Yesterday morning Jack was not his usual self. I expect some whining here and there, but this was non-stop. And refusal of the nap, which is not the norm at home.

Then, during a big scream, I got a glance in that mouth of his and saw the culprit: 4 teeth trying to pop through.

This kid may not be walking, but he’s got a hecuva lot of teeth.

So, I did what any self-respecting mother would do. Fed him ice cream.

Then it was time for some distraction in the form of a zebra, which is a hand-me-down from his cousins.

And then the tool box. He’s in love with this toy.

Observing nature from the air conditioned indoors.

After playing, we ate a yummy lunch. I had forgotten about this recipe, but it’s really good. And Jack approved.

It’s called Turk-A-Roni by GreenLiteBites and can be found here.

the end.
