Late Night Date Night
Jack had a slumber party with his Nana and Papa (Reid’s parents) last night so we could go out for our anniversary.
We started our date off with a nap, haha! Then, dinner, Best Buy, and Barnes and Noble. Our movie wasn’t until 10, so we were just killing time.
It seems that Toy Story 3 is on its way out of the theater; it’s not playing very often, especially not in 3D.
After seeing it in 3D, we realized that 3D didn’t really add to the story and we would have been fine with 2D, FYI.
Before we were even walking into the theater, we both talked about how tired we were and how we’re normally in bed by this point!
I’ll leave the TS3 review up to Reid. However, I will say that there were a lot of things they could have done without, but it was still a very nostalgic movie because I love the characters.
But one thing they did right was the ending with Andy and Woody’s relationship. I cried. A lot. I even cried when we were talking about it in the car on the way home! It made me want to give Jack a big hug.
We made it home after midnight. I can’t tell you the last time that happened. We quickly went to sleep and SLEPT LATE.
It was a good night; we laughed a lot. It’s safe to say that after four years, we still like each other.
Today, I went to Beth’s “Sprinkle.” She’s having a little boy, Gabriel, in December!
As nice as it was to have the house to ourselves today, the house was way too quiet and we didn’t really know what to do with ourselves. So, we decided we’d let Jack come back home. 🙂
Hope everyone’s having a great weekend!
