About

Reid and Ashley met and married in 2006. They welcomed their first child, Jack Ryan, in March of 2009. They currently reside in a house they’ve “flipped” in Pelham, AL with their cat, Chewbacca.

Ashley graduated from Southeastern Bible College in May 2007. She’s a certified personal trainer. Ashley enjoys working out, cake, movies, giraffes, coffee, mountains, polka dots, soccer, green grass, The Office, and hiking.

Reid is a University of Alabama graduate and currently works at the Mercedes-Benz Institute, but drives a sweet Honda. He does graphic design and is considered a teacher. Reid enjoys house remodeling, film making, watching movies with surround sound, chewy sprees, Berries and Cream Dr. Pepper and hiking. He recently accomplished his long term goal of climbing the Grand Tetons.

Jack enjoys formula, wheezing while he’s laughing, being naked, grabbing Ashley’s hair, the occasional mid-night snack, blowing spit bubbles, and talking loudly in a non-translatable language. He also enjoys Tom Clancy novels, as he was named after the main character.

Chewy enjoys waking up at 5 a.m., going outside, being pretty, knocking stuff over, being mysterious to other cats in the neighborhood, jumping high, biting, twisty ties, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

    Ashley,
Got this site from your mom…since I haven’t heard from you!! What is going on, my friend? I miss you so much…

I have enjoyed looking at your wedding pictures. They are awesome. You were beautiful that day, inside and out.

Keep in touch with me. I have some deep theological questions to discuss with someone who actually likes such things.

    Hi Reid and Ashley,

We were so sorry about Reid’s grandfather, and my uncle, Max’s illness and death, and sorry that it took a funeral for me to get to meet baby Jack. I found this site looking for a phone #, hoping we could get together some time. Pelham and Hoover are too close for us not to hook up. Call some time, 444-0705. Sonya and I would really like to get to know you guys better.

Thank you for stopping by my blog yesterday and saying those sweet words! They were very encouraging in the midst of a difficult week :) I would absolutely love to make a cake or anything for Jack’s birthday!
