Heavy Sleeper

It seems that Jack is going to be like his parents in that he’s a heavy sleeper!

We went for the 4D Ultrasound today. We were so excited to see what our little boy looks like!

We got to see every part of him, except his face. We saw a quick glimpse of his face, but then he buried his face and covered it with his hands and even a foot. Then the umbilical cord got in the way.

My stomach hurt when we left because the ultrasound tech kept poking him, trying desperately to get him to move around. I even jumped up and down for a while, but nothing.

He eventually made a fist, so I’m sure we were disturbing him.

So, we’ll try again next week after I down a 2 liter of Dr. Pepper. I’m semi-kidding.

We were a little bummed about not seeing his face when we left, so we comforted ourselves with TCBY. And the thought that we’ll see him soon enough everyday.
