Birthday Weekend

I did a lot better on my birthday than I expected because I couldn’t sleep the night before due to two glasses of sweet tea. I forgot that it has caffeine in it and I was wired til about 2 am and then got up at 4:30!

I had a great 24th birthday! I worked from 5-9 am, then Christmas shopped with Reid, then ice skating! I was really nervous about ice skating because most people tried to discourage me from going because I’m pregnant. Something about breaking my “coccyx” or falling on my belly. That’d be pretty amazing if I fell on my belly while ice skating– that takes talent.

I’m glad we went, though! I didn’t fall, unlike Reid.

After that, we took naps. We had dinner at Jim and Nicks and ice cream cake at home while we watched The Polar Express. All in all, the day was a success. Oh! And Reid got me two great gifts- an iPod FM transmitter for the Jeep and Once on DVD!

Yesterday, I worked, then we just lounged around the house all day. Same as today.

Now that my birthday weekend is coming to an end, I’m ready for Christmas! I can’t wait!
