The Time Has Come

This is the week. I take the ACE Personal Trainer exam Wednesday. And I’m freaking out.

I keep trying to convince myself that I can do this. If I can take three Malick classes my last semester of college and pass, then I can do this, too. If I can take four Snyder classes during one semester and come out with A’s while working two jobs,then I can do this, too. If I can take 21 hours and work and be a newly-wed and lose weight my last semesters of college, I can do this, too. Right? Surely so.

I’ve been Googling message boards re:this test and feel a little better. Just realizing that other people have freaked out over this test and have been there, done that and come out ok, then I’ll be ok. It’s just nice to know I’m not alone.

I’m trying to prepare myself for victory and defeat. I picture myself, passing and jumping into my car to speed back to Daphne to share the victory with my parents, calling Reid in the car and going crazy! I also picture myself failing and running in shame to my car to speed back to Daphne to cry with my parents, calling Reid and maybe pulling over b/c I’m crying too hard.

I’ve accepted both sides of the story. And can live with both.

Now I’m able to clear my head and study more.

PS- I’m also stressed about Wednesday b/c I try on a bridesmaid dress that I may have ordered too small…whoops…
