No Longer Wicked

I mentioned a while back that I was reading Wicked.
Six months later and I’m still not finished with this book. I’m down to three more chapters, but good grief, this book has taken a crazy turn–and I’m no longer interested or a fan. The first half of the book was gripping and easy to read, the rest of it has been vile and uninteresting. I no longer care about the characters.

However,I still listen to the musical soundtrack and have every intention of fully enjoying the live show when it comes to town; the book is just not my taste.

Moving onward, I am now reading Atonement by Ian McEwan. This title may sound familiar due to the recent release of the film version. Surely this book won’t let me down. And surely it won’t take me six months to read this!

The plan:
1. Read Atonement in its entirety.
2. See it in the Dollar Theatre.
3. Feel as if I accomplished something.
