Many blogs rolled into one

1. This was a project weekend for us. Reid painted the inside of the garage (white) and also organized the office. I did most of the laundry (there’s so much of it, I haven’t finished yet…), organized my closet, and straightened up the kitchen. I didn’t get as much done as I wanted, but oh well.

2. I have Christmas fever. Any store I walk into that is decorated for Christmas or has decorations for sale, my heart lights up. I can’t wait! Reid won’t allow Christmas music or decorations until the day after Thanksgiving. I’ve been secretly listening to Christmas music in the car.

3. We went to our 8th wedding this weekend. I don’t have too much to say about weddings anymore. Although, this was an incredible wedding and very sentimental.

4. Work is crazy busy. Who knew so many people want oral surgery during the holidays! Also, I had my first confrontation with my boss. Basically, he yelled and walked away and I cried. I feel like I work in an alternate universe– the boss yells and cusses me out (over tiny details that don’t actually matter) and I can’t really defend myself b/c he’s the boss and the women I work with say “oh its ok, he just does that. he’s done that to all of us.” And you still work here?!? What?? How is that ok?

Which leads us to number 5:

5. I’m currently exploring a new career. It could be 6 mos to a year before I make the switch, but still.

6. Reid and I watched Transformers. I was impressed by the robots….and thats about it. We redeemed ourselves by watching The Count of Monte Cristo.

7. I went to a kickboxing/step aerobics class last week and it was quite amusing. I almost missed the step a few times; its very dangerous. But I will be going back next week. Hopefully I’ll get up enough nerve to go to a real kickboxing class with actual bags and boxing gloves.

  1. Hi Ashley, I’m pretty sure we don’t know eachother, but I thought I would let you know that I read your blog… I felt like a big fat creepster for not telling you that, and I just realized it. :)

Anyway, I’m friends with Lori and Tracie and that is how I stumbled across your adorable site, about 6 months ago. I really enjoy your stories, you’re a good writer, and who knows- maybe someday we’ll meet! Do you go to church of the highlands?
