Birthday Time!

Today is Reid’s birthday. I won’t reveal his age, I’ll only say that it rhymes with “flirty.”

I gave Reid the NCAA 08 Football XBOX game. Therefore, football season has unofficially started in our household. I’ve already heard the “Hey Alabama” song twice in the last three minutes. Last season I didn’t mind Reid playing b/c I could do my homework then. But now, I guess I’ll take up reading and painting.

Reid also used birthday money to get a hard drive, mainly for our tv. We’ll use it in the fall for football games, the Office, Biggest Loser, and the like!

Here are Reid’s cards and presents (Chewy got him Anchorman, how thoughtful!). Oh, and Reid got extremely nice sunglasses, which are locked up safely in the car, from his parents.

We were going to do a picture of him playing XBOX with the sunglasses on, but they’re downstairs and it’s just too far to walk….

We celebrated the night with eating at Up the Creek and going to see The Simpsons Movie. Our favorite line was at the end when Tom Hanks says, “This is Tom Hanks saying if you see me in person, please let me be. “

We’ve also had our fill of Berries and Cream Dr. Pepper and Chewy Spree. So much so that we felt sick and couldn’t even eat Birthday cake when we got home.
