Financial Aid Travels
I leave Sunday morning for Financial Aid training at Furman University in South Carolina. I’m not really looking forward to this for several reasons, but I think it’ll bring a few laughs. For example, they’ve told me to bring a nice outfit for Thursday night when we have a banquet/dance (6 pm to midnight). Niiiiiice. I think I’ll be leaving early to work out or sleep.
I’m sure I’ll keep up with blogging so I can vent about whats going on. There are a few youth camp aspects to it:: a t-shirt swap, cookout, game night, mock olympics, class pictures, tv show night, jeopardy. So it’s going to be an interesting week. If anything, I’m sure I’ll laugh a lot.
I’m looking forward to using their gym facilities. I’m also looking forward to Wednesday afternoon because we have a free afternoon/night! I’ve already mapped it and everything- I’m going to a store that sells the brand Bitten by Sarah Jessica Parker. There’s not one here and it’s cute/professional clothes that are 5-20 dollars. I’m also planning to spend some time in a coffee shop catching up on some reading that night.

bitten is AWESOME… i haven’t bought anything yet, but i’ve been eyeing it at some of the local stores here in dallas. high on my priority list this weekend.
