Why I’m Ready To Leave College

it is near 1 am.
i’m hoping to go to bed by 3. am.
my back hurts.
my stomach hurts.
i’m tired.
my husbands been asleep for hours.
without me.
its hard to focus.
nothing makes sense anymore.
not sure i’m doing this paper the right way.
but i don’t really care.
surely if i mess it up i won’t fail.
surely.
wait, right?

  1. From my experience, the only way to fail a paper is to not do it. You’re not giving yourself enough credit. You’re smart. You know stuff without studying. Again, this is how I was. I never felt like I was doing things the right way but in the end the only way I failed was to quit. (and I did that quite a bit in college) So, don’t quit. Remember that scene in Passion of the Christ when Simon picks Jesus up, holds him under the cross and says “Almost there”? That’s what I want to say to you. Sure it’s not as huge as oh… dying for the sins of humanity but it’s been a tremendous burden on you nonetheless. You’re almost there, Ashley.

  2. dido to what reid said except the failing in college thing..WE ARE ALMOST DONE!! YEAH!

  3. well the great thing is ~
you have less than two weeks till graduation (YAY!) and with that you will be able to get to bed at a decent hour REALLY soon AND you will be able to enjoy your evenings homework-free so VERY soon…you are so close you can taste it right?
don’t worry though about the failing…because you WILL NOT fail (so just keep reminding yourself that you can DO this) ;)

  4. …so i am excited for you! that is all i got on here to say :]
