Switch

I wrote a nice little blog about our moving this week, but I somehow lost it in WordPress land.

It really was special.

Here were the highlights:
I walked over to our new apartment yesterday (its only a building over from where we are now) and realized the door was unlocked! Reid and I hung out there for a while discussing what needed to be changed, where to paint what and where, etc. I’ve pretty much already decided where I want to hang everything and where the furniture needs to go.

Patience is not my strong suit in moving, I like to get it over with a soon as possible and have everything compleley settled immediately. This isn’t possible this time because we’ll be painting some of it. Also, I do have school work while this is all going on.

I like change so this move is good for me. There are lots of windows in the apartment (most of which face the “woods” — which really means a few trees, atleast its not facing other apartments). And I’m freakishly happy about a window in the kitchen.

The last time I moved it was just nine months ago, moving into Reid’s apartment. Now we’re moving together. We picked out the place together and will set up everything together; its not just his place.
