Active Day

I’ve set my alarm the past couple days with the best intentions of getting my booty out of bed and going to spinning class or just working out in general. 5 a.m. is just too early for me. Especially when its followed by a late night of homework.

Today I actually rolled out of bed and did some cardio. I didn’t have to get up as early because class today isn’t til 9.

I had to be at work early today because the boys were out of school. We went to the park for a couple hours, where they met up with a friend so I was just left alone. I decided to take this time to run. I did pretty well considering it was hot, I hadn’t run in a while, AND I was wearing jeans! I know it must have looked odd because I did get some looks. I was in a nice short-sleeved shirt, jeans, and sneakers (that I borrowed from my boss).
I’m such a dork- I found an empty soccer field in the back and started doing some of the workouts I’ve seen on The Biggest Loser. Oh yeah!

I’m pretty excited because Reid and I are going to play tennis tonight!! We played once last summer, but I was a sore loser. I have this problem that if I’m not good at something right off, I give up. I’d rather be great at it than just be mediocre. All or nothing. BUT I think I’m getting past that and it’ll be fun tonight. Plus, by the end of the day, according to sparkpeople.com, I will have burned as many calories as I have eaten today!

Random, but I love marathons! I don’t know why! Sunday, Reid and I watched Supernanny almost all day. Now, I’m watching yet another America’s Top Model marathon….sorry, Reid.
